Since the driver uses spi_dt_spec there is no need for an explicit
spi_cs_control variable. The variable is unused.

Workaround for nRF52 anomalies 102, 106, and 107 was applied also for
SoCs that were not affected with those, namely nRF52811 and nRF52840.
Since the side effect of this workaround is reduction of sensitivity,
this was highly undesirable.
This commit uses dedicated functions provided by MDK for checking if
a given anomaly applies to the used SoC (and its actual revision) so
that the workaround is applied only when it is really needed.

As with previous commit, make the timer irq a simple integer variable
exported by the timer driver for the benefit of this one test
(tests/kernel/context).

This test has gotten out of control. It has a giant #if cascade
enumerating every timer driver in the Zephyr tree and extracting its
interrupt number. Which means that every driver needs to somehow
expose that interrupt in its platform headers or some other API.
Make it a simple integer variable exported by the timer driver for the
benefit of this one test.

Some errors can occur in the sending process that have to be handled
in a polling fasion instead of blocking using semaphores. In this case
apply an exponentially growing backoff time. This will allow for fast
reactions in most situations and prevents high system loads in case
resolving the situation takes a little longer.

MCUboot was synchronized up to upstream:

- boot_serial: refactoring and optimalization (mainly afects
progressive erase implementation)
- migrate includes to <zephyr/...>
- switched DFU detection GPIO-pin configuration to be done through DTS.
That pin is assigned thanks to `mcuboot-button0` pin-alias.
- boot_serial: Fix echo command code no longer compiling
- Added MCUboot status callback support, see `CONFIG_MCUBOOT_ACTION_HOOKS`
Kconfig option.
- reworked LED usage, prefer DTS mcuboot-led0 alias over bootloader-led0
alias
- Added initial support for leverage RAM-LOAD mode with the zephyr-rtos
port
- boot_serial: Upgrade from cddl-gen 0.1.0 to zcbor 0.4.0
- imgtool: Added support for providing the signature by 3rd party

The change in this commit is required to avoid regression errors
on EBQ test for the PHY update procedure
When in the peripheral role transmission of data must be resumed
while waiting for the PHY IND response from peer.
In other words: in the LP_PU_STATE_WAIT_TX_ACK_PHY_REQ state
data transmission must resume when acting as peripheral,
but not when in the central role

This PR fixes the PHY update procedures for conformance tests when
being a Central
The problem was that data was in the LLL tx queue and was still being
queued before the PHY IND was queued (with a given instant).
As a result by the time the PHY IND was transmitted over the air the
instant was in the past.
The fix is to ensure that the LLL tx queue is empty, and to stop
queueing new data before queueing the PHY IND
Following tests are fixed:

The BT_CODEC_LC3_CONFIG_* macros had a hardcoded location
and context, which makes them a lot less usable.
Updates the macro, and the macros that used them.
This also removes the BT_CODEC_LC3_CONFIG and instead
just uses the BT_CODEC_LC3_CONFIG_N macro, which has
then been renamed to BT_CODEC_LC3_CONFIG.
As an addition, the macros and their input has
also been better documented.

for data exchange between Xen domains via shared memory page(s) (e.g.

These tests work in tandem with the cavstool.py script: the script
receives IPC messages and properly acts on them. However, it may take
some time to the script execution arrive at the point in which it's
ready to receive incoming messages. This patch makes the test code wait
some arbitrary time to allow the script to reach the desired state.
Note that another IPC message could be used to this end, but since some
tests are actually testing the IPC mechanism, it seems unwise to assume
IPC works for set up steps.
Signed-off-by: Ederson de Souza <ederson.desouza@intel.com>
It seems a race can happen between the host acknowledging a DONE
interrupt and the DSP being able to mark some IPC as done. To avoid
this, the host script now always acknowledges the DONE interrupt
_before_ processing the IPC message.
