The attach and detach flow was previously scattered across bus event
handlers and class code, causing duplicated enumeration and class
probe/remove logic. Root-device state was also manipulated directly in
the host context, which made lifecycle handling implicit and limited
the ability to support devices behind a hub.
This update introduces common helpers for device attach and detach and
replaces direct root access with simple accessor functions. By unifying
enumeration and teardown into a single path, the control flow becomes
clearer and more consistent, and the host stack is no longer tied to a
single-root assumption. These changes form the basis for supporting
multiple devices attached through a hub in future updates.

Limit the test to Cortex-M QEMU/FVP simulator platforms to avoid build
failures caused by board-specific drivers selecting features (e.g.
EVENTS) that depend on MULTITHREADING, which this test disables.

When the system clock operates at 96MHz, the core voltage must be
raised to 1.1V to ensure stability.
This fixes spurious resets occuring mainly during clock initialization.

The driver was using a packet count value read directly from the
hardware to control a loop bound and a register read size. If the
hardware reported a value exceeding the internal buffer size, it
could lead to a buffer overflow or an untrusted loop bound.
Add a check to cap the packet_count based on the actual size of
the driver's FIFO data buffer.

The random_linkaddr() function may generate MAC addresses with the
multicast bit set. Source MAC addresses must not be multicast, and
randomly generated virtual interface addresses should have the
locally administered (LAA) bit set.
Force the LAA bit and clear the multicast bit after generating the
random address.

H5 series SoCs have a similar Ethernet MAC to the H7 series,
but with some differences with respect to configuration of phy
interface type. As they use a Cortex-M33 core, they have no cache,
so that dma descriptors are always in non-cached memory.

The IS_ACCEL macro checks if a channel is within the accelerometer
range. Because SENSOR_CHAN_ACCEL_X currently evaluates to 0 and
the channel type is unsigned, Coverity flags this as a redundant
comparison.
Added a coverity[unsigned_compare] annotation to silence the warning.
This preserves the macro's logic, ensuring the check remains valid
even if the underlying enum order is modified in the future.

Several of the ST sensor implementations do not return a value to
the fetch caller, even when a fetch fails internally. This is
fixed by returning the value from the internal calls.

Add missing Doxygen condition comments that should have hidden fields

Harmonize the various places where the Doxygen `@cond INTERNAL_HIDDEN`
command is used across kernel.h such that they are all consistent:
- always use the wide comment variant
/**
* cond / endcond
*/
- always add INTERNAL_HIDDEN before `@endcond`
- one newline before `@cond` comment, no newline after
- no newline before `@endcond` comment, one after
- stick to leftmost column (similar to #if/#endif)

Remove double buffering that was using a separate work_buffer.
Receive and parse frames directly into receive_buffer instead.
This saves MODEM_CMUX_WORK_BUFFER_SIZE of RAM and avoids
one copy from work_buffer to receive_buffer.
Driver already asserts if the receive buffer does not fit
maximum frame, so it should be properly sized.

Bluetooth uses a variety of opaque types with varying levels
of documentations. However doxygen won't pick up these struct
unless they explicitly contain the @struct keyword.
This commit adds @struct for all opaque types, which allows them
to show up in the documentation (as opaque types), but also
allows us to @ref them from other places.

it to run on the Cortex-A53 adding a variant with SMP (Symmetric

Add driver for the Sensirion STCC4 miniature CO2 sensor. The STCC4
measures CO2 concentration (ppm), temperature, and humidity via I2C
using Sensirion's standard word+CRC protocol.
Features:
- Continuous and single-shot measurement modes
- CRC-8 validation on all sensor data
- Product ID readout at init
- Graceful handling of first measurement delay in continuous mode

Add devicetree binding for the Sensirion STCC4, a miniature CO2 sensor
based on thermal conductivity. The sensor communicates via I2C and
provides CO2, temperature, and humidity readings.
The binding supports a required "mode" property (int enum) to select
between continuous and single-shot measurement modes, using constants
from dt-bindings/sensor/stcc4.h.
