Add pm_action callback with PINCTRL_STATE_SLEEP on suspend and
PINCTRL_STATE_DEFAULT on resume. Register the driver with
PM_DEVICE_DT_INST_DEFINE so the PM framework calls the callback
during system sleep transitions.
If no sleep pinctrl state is defined in DTS, the suspend call
is a no-op.

Update unit tests after moving hardware reservation logic from
Handler class to HardwareMap. Relocate and rename tests to match
the new module structure and API changes.
Signed-off-by: Grzegorz Chwierut <grzegorz.chwierut@nordicsemi.no>
Hardware reservation logic moved from Handler class to ProjectBuilder
runner using context manager approach. When NoDeviceAvailableException
is raised due to no free devices, the task is re-queued for later
processing instead of blocking the execution pipeline.
The reserve_hardware() context manager handles device reservation,
yields execution control only when hardware is available, and ensures
proper cleanup in the finally block.
All DUT management logic is now consolidated in HardwareMap class,
removing DUT references from Handler classes. This improves code
maintainability by centralizing responsibilities and eliminating
shared ownership of hardware resources between modules.

Update phandle documentation to reflect that IO channels are now
special-cased like GPIOs.
Signed-off-by: Bjarki Arge Andreasen <bjarki.andreasen@nordicsemi.no>
Extend the special casing of specifer space to include io-channels,
making the implementation a bit more easily scalable for the
future as well. This allows defining io-channels like gpios,
prepending a name like foo-io-channels, which is useful when
multiple groups of io-channels need to be defined for a node:
foo {
bar-io-channels = <&baz 0>, <&baz 1>;
qiz-io-channels = <&baz 2>, <&baz 3>;
};
This is useful for defining channels to be read in parralel
sequences.

Rename SOC_XILINX_XC7Z* Kconfig symbols to SOC_XC7Z* to align
with HWMv2 guidelines. The SOC Kconfig symbol name must match
the uppercase version of the SOC name defined in soc.yml.
Before: config SOC_XILINX_XC7Z010 with default "xc7z010"
After: config SOC_XC7Z010 with default "xc7z010"
This allows CI checks to detect typos and enables future
auto-generation of SOC_* symbols from soc.yml files.

When lptmr0 is reserved as the system timer, the MCXW IEEE 802.15.4
radio cannot rely on a separate counter device being instantiated for it.
The fallback to the kernel cycle counter is also not a valid replacement
for hardware timestamping in all timer configurations.
Add a counter phandle to the MCXW binding, wire the MCXW7x boards in scope
to use lptmr1 as a dedicated non-system-timer counter, and make the driver
consume that devicetree-provided counter directly.
This keeps the fix narrow to the boards enabled in this PR while removing
the fragile hard-coded lptmr0/lptmr1 selection logic.

When all LPTMR instances are reserved as the system
timer, the counter driver has no instances to create.
The static init and ISR functions become unused,
causing -Werror=unused-function build failures.
Guard the entire driver body with a preprocessor check
that counts usable (non-system-timer) LPTMR instances.
When the count is zero the file compiles to nothing.
Signed-off-by: Holt Sun <holt.sun@nxp.com>
The MCUX LPTMR counter driver skips instantiating the LPTMR
instance reserved by zephyr,system-timer. The counter basic
API test still enumerated all status-ok nxp,lptmr nodes via
DEVICE_DT_GET(), which left a dangling device reference when
i.MX95 M7 selected lptmr1 as the system timer.
Filter the test device list to exclude the chosen system timer
node so the test only references LPTMR instances that the
counter driver actually instantiates.
