Before updating stm32 pinctrl/gpio drivers to support plain GPIO
feature, rework pin configuration functions headers to provide
more clarity on the arguments and the information they convey:
- pin configuration
- pin function

The function is only used by the driver itself. This likely comes from
pre-runtime PM API usage.

Make gpio32_stm32_configure use runtime PM API (so that it can be used
externally without further effort). The raw version of the function (no
PM put/get) has been introduced for internal use.

The device PM subsystem already holds the device state, so there is no
need to keep duplicates inside the device. The pm_device_state_get has
been refactored to just return the device state. Note that this is still
not safe, but the same applied to the previous implementation. This
problem will be addressed later.

Move all PM_DEVICE_STATE_* definitions to an enum. The
PM_DEVICE_STATE_SET and PM_DEVICE_STATE_GET definitions have been kept
out of the enum since they do not represent any state. However, their
name has not been changed since they will be removed soon.
All drivers and tests have been adjusted accordingly.

Since we removed various series headers, move stm32 driver
under main driver/pinmux folder.
Take this change into account into various drivers.

Implement power mgmt hooks to support PM_DEVICE and
PM_DEVICE_RUNTIME.
In case of PM_DEVICE_RUNTIME, clock is requested for bank writes
so it is requested before configuring and released only if pin
is not configured as output.

Advanced stm32g0 socs additionally have gpio port e.

Now that pinmux driver holds a table of GPIO device pointers,
use gpio device as the single source of trust for gpio_base
and remove use of port_base and related code.
This way, gpio_stm32_configure could directly take gpio device
pointer as argument.

add a dedicated central function fog GPIO ports clock toggling.
This function is made accessible to other users (pinmux).

Add the common config structure as a prefix of the driver-specific
config structure. This driver uses fixups to define a common name
based on the SOC series; until aliases for the new properties are
added the code assumes all pins are supported.
Since pin ordinal validation is now done directly in gpio API,
remove checks inside the driver itself.

create a shim for backward-compatibility.
No functional changes to the headers.
A warning in the shim can be controlled with CONFIG_COMPAT_INCLUDES.

https://github.com/zephyrproject-rtos/ci-tools/pull/65 tweaks the check
for references to undefined Kconfig symbol to whitelist anything on the
form 'CONFIG_FOO_*' (or 'CONFIG_FOO_*_...'). This is meant for #endif
comments that talk about many related symbols.
Fix two existing #endif comments to use that format, so that some
entries can be removed from the whitelist in the CI check.

Accordingly, update series dtsi file.

The original implementation of gpio functions access registers
directly. Using LL library can add a set of unifying access
functions for all series of stm32 for avoiding accessing low level
code, and improve readability.

All series STM32 have mostly the same GPIO architecture
and can share the same code for GPIO manipulation.
Functions of the external interrupt line control are also the same.
This patch extracts common code from them and put them into the 'common'
folder.
Functions of control GPIO of these series scattered in
soc/arm/st_stm32/stm32xx/ folders contain these functions:
stm32_gpio_flags_to_conf(), stm32_gpio_configure(), stm32_gpio_set(),
stm32_gpio_get, stm32_gpio_enable_int().
This patch merges them into the gpio_stm32.c file.

ports_enable array holds port clock information.
It is populated for all SoCs, but ports availability depends on
SoCs. The way it is defined today, location of the port in the
array depends on previous ports definition in SoC CMSIS files.
Though, port index is always the same irrespective of previous
ports availability in the SoC.
This will result in incoherency between port index and clock
information.
Fix this by setting a bogus value if port is not defined.
Return an error if bogus value is read.

Following rework of pinmux driver for whole stm32 family,
remove call to stm32_get_pin_config which is no more
used.
Include dt-bindings stm32-pinctrl.h file to ensure coherency
between dts files and pinmux driver.

(enum not accepted as dt binding), rework gpio_stm32_config
declaration.

This commit enables STM32Cube LL based driver for stm32f4 series.
This generic driver provides a unified API to clock driver for all
stm32 series.
LL API allows driver to be lightweight and to keep genericity across
stm32 family to ease further devlopment and maintenance.

Replace the existing Apache 2.0 boilerplate header with an SPDX tag
throughout the zephyr code tree. This patch was generated via a
script run over the master branch.
Also updated doc/porting/application.rst that had a dependency on
line numbers in a literal include.
Manually updated subsys/logging/sys_log.c that had a malformed
header in the original file. Also cleanup several cases that already
had a SPDX tag and we either got a duplicate or missed updating.
