1d29a8c3c2 drivers: i2c: stm32 i2c driver supports 10-bit addressing
When slave_address is 10 bits, data type should be
uint16_t instead of uint8_t,
like the data typeof data->slave_cfg->address.

78d3f2a6a0 stm32,i2c: Fix large I2C transactions on I2C V1

this commit implements some changes to also add support
of large transactions on I2C v1. Some refactoring is also done
to put the code in the right source files.

2a97a0a95c drivers: i2c_ll_stm32_v2: Fix logic in target_unregister
Logic was wrong when testing if a slave is still attached. And i2c
driver was never disabled.

Test if one of the two slave_cfg pointer is not NULL to return
immediately.

b8b1d75a54 drivers: i2c_ll_stm32_v2: Test slave_cfg pointer before using it
Since the introduction of the second slave address support, slave_cfg
pointer may be NULL when entering slave event function.
It happens when both targets are registered and then the first one is
unregsitered.

Test the pointer vs NULL before using it.

d576b7f3d3 drivers: i2c_ll_stm32_v2: add support for second target address
The Zephyr API supports multiple I2C targets addresses, and the STM32
I2C v2 implementation allows to define up to 2 targets addresses.

This patch adds support for a second I2C target address. It adds a new
config entry in the i2c_stm32_data structure, and uses the fact that
both addresses can be enabled and disabled independently. In the
interrupt, the target being addressed is determined using the address
match code from the interrupt status register.

e1d22a0b61 drivers: i2c_ll_stm32_v2: Add timeout on transfer
When, due to EMC, a spike happens on the SCL line the driver stay in
BUSY state. It could be reproduced by forcing the SCL temporarily to
ground. It's probably a behavior relating to the operation of
multi-master.
By adding a timeout to the msg_read and msg_write function we can
detect that something went wrong, and when that happens we force the
end of communication.

1603c329bd drivers: i2c_ll_stm32_v2: add support for optional timing property
In case optional timings property has been defined in DT, let's use it
and look for a matching peripheral clock and i2c bus clock so that
timing value is used instead of using runtime algorithm.

If matching the current configuration, the value will be set directly to
the I2C_TIMINGR register through the LL API.

This property is only valid for I2C V2 peripheral, so the timing config
structure member is only added in case of CONFIG_I2C_STM32_V2. Also the
initialization of the member is done conditionnaly, only in case
it is defined in DT, otherwise timings table will be empty.

Rename reserved function names in drivers/ subdirectory. Update
function macros concatenatenating function names with '##'. As
there is a conflict between the existing gpio_sch_manage_callback()

f603e2509d drivers: i2c_ll_stm32_v2: Handle errors during data transfers
Check for ARLO, BERR, OVR, and NACK errors during any kind of
transmission. Helps fix getting into a while(1) loop in any of these
scenarios when in polling mode.

81cfdec3a9 i2c: stm32_v2: restructure interrupt handling
This patch restructures stm32_i2c_v2 drivers Interrupts:
- NACK failures trigger an I2C event interrupt, so move
handling of NACK failure from error isr to event isr.
- Extract logic of interrupt handling to static functions. Use
isr functions (event & error OR combined) to call these. This
reduces duplication between error isr and combined isr.
- Restructure the error interrupt handling, so that it has no effect
when no errors occured and thus can be called by combined isr.
- Change interrupt logic from if/else to pure ifs for each flag.
This reduces code paths and leads to one call of the isr handling
multiple interrupt conditions, if there's more than one I2C
interrupt flags set.
This is the way it's done e.g. in linux kernels (since 4.14)
drivers/i2c/busses/i2c-stm32f7.c

5491c29314 i2c: stm32_ll: Fix spurious error while reading using IRQ
We can have a spurious error while performing a transfer using IRQ. This
happens when the last message of the transfer is a read with a STOP
condition. We must disable the RX interrupt while waiting for the STOP
interrupt, otherwise we will get a spurious RX interrupt which will lead
to an error.

Waiting for transfer complete and stop condition uses while loops
even when interrupt mode is enabled.
Implement use of TC, TCR and STOP interrupt for interrupt mode.
msg_done is not needed in interrupt mode anymore, so move it
to non-interrupt section
Tested with stm32f3_disco board.

b80da2b710 drivers: i2c_ll_stm32: Use I2C API flags
STM32 I2C driver doesn't use the I2C API flags STOP/RESTART,
instead it uses its own RESTART flag. As a result, I2C API's
i2c_burst_write* funtions doesn't work. This patch makes
STM32 I2C driver to use I2C API flags.

Tested on: 96b_carbon, olimexino_stm32 (i2c_ll_stm32_v1)
Tested on: stm32f3_disco, disco_l475_iot1 (i2c_ll_stm32_v2)

c404c3b241 i2c: fix issue of stm32-i2c-v2 (F0/F3/F7) driver hanging in endless loop
Fixes #4429
Driver didn't work properly when a transfer consisted of multiple
messages.
Fix doesn't use auto end mode anymore. msg_done function waits for
transfer to complete and issues stop condition if necessary.

Tested with stm32f3_disco board and samples/drivers/i2c_fujitsu_fram
example adapted to use I2C_1 as I2C_DEV
