If we try to add an already existing IP address to the
address monitor list, then mark the address to be in use.
The address might have been marked as not-in-use before.

If we override a static address by a DHCPv4 address, then send
address DEL event so that listeners notice it. This happens
for example with mDNS responder that needs to keep track of
what IPv4 addresses it needs to advertise.

It seemed the case was using multicast address as MAC address
for Ethernet interface. This patch is to fix it.
Signed-off-by: Yangbo Lu <yangbo.lu@nxp.com>
Fixed multicast address checking.
- net_eth_is_addr_multicast() should be for multicast address checking
but not for only IP multicast address. Then net_eth_is_addr_group()
is no longer needed.
- LLDP and gPTP multicast address checking should not depend on Kconfig
option.

Correct the behavior when printing interger menu values.
Current loop is not correct since it is waiting for a 0 value
to stop while for integer menu any value is possible.
Modify in order to loop until reaching the maximum number of
entries listed at the ctrl init time.

"integer menu" ctrl type is longer than the 8 bytes long
typebuf hence rename the type into "int menu" and increase
the typebuf buffer in addition to increase alignment during
print of the ctrl values.

The value os board qualifiers in CMake and Kconfig differs.
CMake has a leading '/', as example:
CMake: BOARD_QUALIFIERS=/nrf52840
Kconfig: BOARD_QUALIFIERS=nrf52840
This was also discussed in
https://github.com/zephyrproject-rtos/zephyr/pull/69740
This commit aligns the value of the CMake variable BOARD_QUALIFIERS to
the value of BOARD_QUALIFIERS (CONFIG_BOARD_QUALIFIERS) in Kconfig.

Fix L2CAP configuration negotiation failure when peer device sends
MPS value larger than its own TX MTU in the configuration request.
This issue occurs when connecting to certain devices (e.g., iPhone)
using enhanced retransmission mode with MAP or PBAP profiles. The
peer may send an MPS that exceeds the TX MTU specified in the same
L2CAP_CONFIGURATION_REQ packet.
Instead of rejecting the configuration, adjust the MPS to match the
peer's TX MTU and include the corrected value in the
L2CAP_CONFIGURATION_RSP packet. This allows the connection to proceed
while ensuring MPS stays within valid bounds.

Add a new board variant versalnet_apu/amd_versalnet_apu/smp to support
Symmetric Multi-Processing (SMP) configuration for AMD Versal NET APU.
This commit introduces:
- SMP board variant with 4-core configuration (CONFIG_MP_MAX_NUM_CPUS=4)
- PSCI support for CPU power management operations
- ARM64 40-bit virtual and physical address space support
- Non-secure world execution (EL1 NS) configuration
- Compatible with Xilinx ARM Trusted Firmware boot flow
The SMP variant enables out-of-box multicore support for applications
that require parallel processing capabilities on the Versal NET APU
platform.
Usage:
west build -b versalnet_apu/amd_versalnet_apu/smp <application>
Boot Flow: Boot PDI -> TF-A -> Zephyr (SMP)
Files added:
- boards/amd/versalnet_apu/versalnet_apu_amd_versalnet_apu_smp.yaml
- boards/amd/versalnet_apu/versalnet_apu_amd_versalnet_apu_smp.dts
- boards/amd/versalnet_apu/versalnet_apu_amd_versalnet_apu_smp_defconfig
Files modified:
- boards/amd/versalnet_apu/board.yml (added smp variant)

Add a migration note for counter drivers that use `get_value_64` that

Add a kconfig to be used as a flag for indicating if it supports 64b
ticks and another flag which will enable the 64b api. The kconfig
indicating that it supports 64b is a dependency of the kconfig that
will enable the api.

Some counters, such as those that use fractional adders, tick at
resolutions greater than 4294967295Hz. This changes the freq in the common
info to a uint64_t. This adds a KConfig that can be selected by a driver.
This also has the counter ticks to sec (and vice versa) helper functions
call the get frequency for 64 bits if the kconfig is selected.

Align the OpenOCD runner with the JLink runner by adopting the
framework's standard file selection mechanism:
- Add file=True to RunnerCaps to enable --file and --file-type args
- Deprecate --use-hex, --use-elf, --use-bin flags (still work with
warning)
- Use FileType enum instead of string comparisons
- Support --file for custom file paths (like JLink)
- Store hex_name and bin_name alongside elf_name for consistency
Also remove the framework constraint that --file-type requires --file,
allowing boards to specify a preferred file format via board.cmake
without providing a custom file path.
