returning success when already enabled.

Test was skipped if baudrate was too high. Test can actually
reconfigure the DUT device to use lower baudrate and run the test.
Initial baudrate is restored once test is completed.

bits sizes (5-8 bits). If driver does not support given configuration
then test is skipped.

Configure the GPT (General Purpose Timer) instances to use "free-run"
mode in the counter basic API test overlays for NXP i.MX RT and i.MX 8
boards. This ensures consistent timer behavior across the test suite.
Changes apply to:
- mimxrt1170_evk (GPT2-6)
- mimxrt1180_evk cm33 and cm7 (GPT2)
- imx8mp_evk, imx8mn_evk, imx8mm_evk (GPT1)

Avoid initialization failure by Updating channel information
to match the <dac1 1> configuration.
Also reduce ADC resolution to 10 bits to prevents the test from failing
due to ADC sampling value being outside the valid range.

This fixes an issue that causes all SPI tests run natively on the
nRF54LM20-DK to fail. Furthermore, this adds a clarification in the
README.txt so that this test intention is clear about being run on only one
device, and not two.

Change macro STM32_HSE_CSS to be defined (to 1) only when HSE clock
security system is enabled, as stated by the HSE DT node css-enabled
property. Consequently only use #ifdef STM32_HSE_CSS (or #if defined())
and IS_ENABLED(STM32_HSE_CSS) to test whether or not it's enabled.
No functional change but may prevent build warnings since prior
this change was STM32_HSE_CSS value tested while the macro may
not be defined.

Generalize the Hynitron CST816S touchscreen driver to support the
broader CST8xx controller family.
Changes include:
- Renaming the driver from input_cst816s.c to input_cst8xx.c
- Renaming drivers/input/Kconfig.cst816s to drivers/input/Kconfig.cst8xx
- Updating the Devicetree compatible from hynitron,cst816s to
hynitron,cst8xx
- Updating the Devicetree binding description and compatible field
- Updating board DTS files and test overlays to use the new compatible
These changes align the driver, Devicetree bindings, and compatible
strings with the actual hardware support, which covers the CST8xx
family rather than only the CST816S variant.

PR 104896 enforces the usage of the watchdog0 alias.
To avoid unwanted behaviors or settings for this test, remove
the other redundant if condition on watchdogs.
To avoid build compilation failures in CI related to WDT_TEST_MAX_WINDOW
redefinition for platforms other than STM32, move the existing condition
about st_stm32_window_watchdog outside the condition about the watchdog0
node.
These changes fix regressions encountered on several boards.
