NFFS is removed as it has serious bugs (by design) which haven't
been resolved since extended range of time.
One of most serious issues bunch were described here:
https://github.com/apache/mynewt-nffs/issues/10
Since lack of support NFFS upsterem it doesn't make sense to keep
it in zephyr.

The previous way of creating an absolute path relied on snprintf(), and
when used with newlib gcc warned that the output could be truncated
before the last format character. Rework to use code that doesn't rely
on snprintf.
See discussion at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1431678
Also ensure that cwd is always NUL-terminated, and use the utility
function to create the absolute path in cmd_trunc.

Add support for the littlefs file system in the fs shell. Update
the sample to use the same partition configuration as the littlefs
example for the SPI NOR test platform.

move fs.h to fs/fs.h and
create a shim for backward-compatibility.
No functional changes to the headers.
A warning in the shim can be controlled with CONFIG_COMPAT_INCLUDES.

Inside cmd_read(), result of fs_seek() is not checked which might
result in reading the wrong part of file. So fails the read if
fs_seek() fails.

It is planned to deprecate SHELL_CREATE_STATIC_SUBCMD_SET macro
which is replaced by SHELL_STATIC_SUBCMD_SET_CREATE.
Additionally, removed irrelevant comments about alphabetical
ordering which is no longer needed.

There are issues using lowercase min and max macros when compiling a C++
application with a third-party toolchain such as GNU ARM Embedded when
using some STL headers i.e. <chrono>.
This is because there are actual C++ functions called min and max
defined in some of the STL headers and these macros interfere with them.
By changing the macros to UPPERCASE, which is consistent with almost all
other pre-processor macros this naming conflict is avoided.
All files that use these macros have been updated.

1. Created new shell module: shell_help.
2. Simplified command handlers with new shell print macros.
3. Removed help functions from command handlers.

Removing help "options" from shell API.
Currently SHELL_OPT macro is not used by users. What is more
commit: a89690d10f ignores possible options created in
command handler by the user. As a result they are not printed
in help message.
Second, currntly implemented "options" in command handlers options are
implemented without SHELL_OPT macro.
And last but not least this change will allow to implement
help handler in a way that user will not need to think about calling
functions printing help in a command handler.

These changes were obtained by running a script created by
Ulf Magnusson <Ulf.Magnusson@nordicsemi.no> for the following
specification:
1. Read the contents of all dts_fixup.h files in Zephyr
2. Check the left-hand side of the #define macros (i.e. the X in
#define X Y)
3. Check if that name is also the name of a Kconfig option
3.a If it is, then do nothing
3.b If it is not, then replace CONFIG_ with DT_ or add DT_ if it
has neither of these two prefixes
4. Replace the use of the changed #define in the code itself
(.c, .h, .ld)
Additionally, some tweaks had to be added to this script to catch some
of the macros used in the code in a parameterized form, e.g.:
- CONFIG_GPIO_STM32_GPIO##__SUFFIX##_BASE_ADDRESS
- CONFIG_UART_##idx##_TX_PIN
- I2C_SBCON_##_num##_BASE_ADDR
and to prevent adding DT_ prefix to the following symbols:
- FLASH_START
- FLASH_SIZE
- SRAM_START
- SRAM_SIZE
- _ROM_ADDR
- _ROM_SIZE
- _RAM_ADDR
- _RAM_SIZE
which are surprisingly also defined in some dts_fixup.h files.
Finally, some manual corrections had to be done as well:
- name##_IRQ -> DT_##name##_IRQ in uart_stm32.c

With the introduce of VFS the typedef for fs_file_t & fs_dir_t don't
exist anymore so we need to use 'struct fs_dir_t' or 'struct fs_file_t'.
Fix up some places that got missed in the VFS conversion.

Add following commands to fs shell:
- rf <filename>
- read <filename> [<offset> [<length>]]
- write <filename> [-o <offset>] <byte1> [<byte2> ... [<byteN>]]
- trunc <filename> [<length>]
For writes without offset specified, new data is appended to file.
For truncaces without length specified, 0 is default value.

Replace the existing Apache 2.0 boilerplate header with an SPDX tag
throughout the zephyr code tree. This patch was generated via a
script run over the master branch.
Also updated doc/porting/application.rst that had a dependency on
line numbers in a literal include.
Manually updated subsys/logging/sys_log.c that had a malformed
header in the original file. Also cleanup several cases that already
had a SPDX tag and we either got a duplicate or missed updating.

This moves the shell component into its own subsys and groups all
related files and options into a single place.
Additionally, one Kconfig option will now be required to enable the
shell:
CONFIG_CONSOLE_SHELL=y
The header files was also moved to include/shell/shell.h and can be now
referenced with
#include <shell/shell.h>
instead of
#include <misc/shell.h>
Updated documentation as well.
