4940a3cac2 nrf52_bsim: Add compile time check of HW models version
Added a check at compile time to ensure the HW models are either
the desired version or newer.
Otherwise print a warning.
The check can be disabled by setting the enviroment variable

b8c19d8c75 util: Add GENMASK helper macro definition
Macro is used to create contiguous bitmask between the
arguments passed to the macro.

BITS_PER_LONG is computed as the multiplication of predefined
macros `__CHAR_BIT__` and `__SIZEOF_LONG__`.

Both gcc and clang support these predefined macros.

With this change, replace the redundant defintions of
GENMASK with the new generic macro available.

Fixes #10843

bf54352761 boards: Introduce frdm_kw41z ble controller shield
The frdm_kw41z can be used as a standalone board or as an arduino

change introduces support the arduino shield configuration.

In the arduino configuration, the frdm_kw41z operates as a ble
controller over serial hci. It can be attached to another board, such as
the frdm_k64f or mimxrt1050_evk, which runs the ble host.

c8954d3544 net: coap: CoAP library support over sockets
CoAP library is migrated to support over socket based
applications or other higher layer protocols. Most of the
API's and functionality is kept as it is except few changes.

net_pkt/net_buf is removed from CoAP library. Now it expects
a pre-allocated flat buffer and length. If there is not enough
space to append any data, library simply returns an error.
It's user's responsibility to allocate and free memory.

One change in functionality is, earlier coap_pending_clear()
used to clear the memory, but now it's user's responsibility
to free the memory.

847b7ccbcc tests: kernel tickless: Bugfix for POSIX arch in TICKLESS
In the POSIX architecture, with the inf_clock "SOC", time does
not pass while the CPU is running. Tests that require time to pass
while busy waiting should call k_busy_wait() or in some other way
set the CPU to idle. This test was setting the CPU to idle while
waiting for the next time slice. This is ok if the system tick
(timer) is active and awaking the CPU every system tick period.
But when configured in tickless mode that is not the case, and the
CPU was set to sleep for an indefinite amount of time.
This commit fixes it by using k_busy_wait(a few microseconds) inside
that busy wait loop instead.

4213dbb2e6 logging: add arguments counting in log_generic
Log_generic() can be used by external logger systems to map to zephyr
logger subsystem. Function has variable number of arguments. So far
logger assumed maximal number of arguments to avoid scanning
string to count number of arguments. In outcome, uninitialized memory
was treated as valid argument in a message (but discarded when actual
string formatting took place). Valgrind complained about that so
log_generic() has been extended to scan the string and count number
of arguments and build message with valid number of arguments.
