For all builds, _image_ram_start is initially set to RAM_ADDR,
before it is (possibly) aligned for MPU.

We currently get a number of warnings like:
Warning (simple_bus_reg): /soc/otgfs_phy: missing or empty
reg/ranges property
This is due to the usb phy nodes not have a reg property since they
don't have an mmio address associated with them.
Move the phy nodes out of the SoC node so their lack of a reg property
will not cause a warning. This is similar to how Linux dts files
handle the phy nodes.

This is mostly meant to be used in drivers and/or L2.
net_pkt_ll() is going to be removed and is not semantically right.
Also, net_pkt_ip_data() is not semantically right as it is meant to
access IP data start.
So instead, adding a new function: net_pkt_data() which will get the
start of the buffer.

Fragmentation has nothing to do with 6lo. Up to the bearer to do so.
This change is required for futur serialization of 15.4 fragmentation.

ll reserve is of no use as the l2 is allocating what it needs for
filling in its header.
This is another step forward to removing ll reserve concept.

There is no need to reserve any space for each frag, as the l2 will
allocate a frag for the ethernet header, arp will do the same.
This is one step further to removing the concept of ll reserve.

Allows for hid_ops argument in usb_hid_register_device() to be NULL.
In that case, application does not implement any custom callbacks.

The main function is just a weak function that should be override by the
applications if they need. Just adding a nop instructions to explicitly
says that this function does nothing.

Split up the toolchain configuration into two phases, generic and
target. The 'generic' phase configures the toolchain just enough to be
able to preprocess DT files. The 'target' phase completes the
configuration with target-specific configuration.

In order for check-compliance.py to be able to run cleanly out-of-tree,
set the repo (to be checked) path based on cwd, and refer to Zephyr and
its tools by the specific path set by ZEPHYR_BASE.

The net-shell "net allocs" command should print network buffer
allocations even if network packet debugging is not enabled.
This is how it used to work earlier but the behaviour got lost
at some point. So user needs to set CONFIG_NET_DEBUG_NET_PKT_ALLOC
in order to see the buffer allocations. The option will be enabled
by default if network packet log level is set to DBG.
The reason for a separate option is that the network packet debug
logging prints just too much data and it is very difficult to
track allocations when that happens.

ioctl() just dispatches to the corresponding vmethod of an fd.
fcntl() handles fdtable-level operations (so far doesn't handle
actually, returning "not implemented" error), and forwards
fd-specific operations to ioctl vmethod just the same (i.e.
ioctl and fcntl operations share the same namespace, but otherwise
disjoint).

As extend fdtable usage to more cases, there regularly arises a need
to forward ioctl/fcntl arguments to another ioctl vmethod, which is
complicated because it defined as taking variadic arguments. The only
portable solution is to convert variadic arguments to va_list at the
first point of entry from client code, and then pass va_list around.
To facilitate calling ioctl with variadic arguments from system code,
z_fdtable_call_ioctl() helper function is added.
