94a9342843 kconfig: subsys: usb: Remove redundant USB_DEVICE_STACK deps.
subsys/usb/Kconfig 'source's subsys/usb/class/Kconfig (which in turn
'source's subsys/usb/class/netusb/Kconfig) within an
'if USB_DEVICE_STACK', so the dependencies on USB_DEVICE_STACK added
within those files are redundant.

'if FOO' is just shorthand for adding 'depends on FOO' to each item
within the 'if'. Dependencies on menus work similarly. There are no
"conditional includes" in Kconfig, so 'if FOO' has no special meaning
around a source. Conditional includes wouldn't be possible, because an
if condition could include (directly or indirectly) forward references
to symbols not defined yet.

Tip: When adding a symbol, check its dependencies in the menuconfig
('ninja menuconfig', then / to jump to the symbol). The menuconfig also
shows how the file with the symbol got included, so if you see
duplicated dependencies, it's easy to hunt down where they come from.

b34b2c5a94 Bluetooth: kconfig: Remove redundant dependencies
subsys/bluetooth/common/Kconfig and subsys/bluetooth/host/Kconfig are
'source'd within 'if BT' and 'if BT_HCI', in subsys/bluetooth/Kconfig,
so there's no need to add those dependencies within them.

f0937215f7 kconfig: arch: arm/arc: Remove duplicated CPU_HAS_MPU dependencies

     menu "ARCH MPU Options"
        depends on CPU_HAS_MPU

   (arch/arc/core/mpu/Kconfig is source'd within it).

 - The ARM CPU_HAS_MPU dependencies were redundantly added by

     endif

and by some 'depends on CPU_HAS_MPU' within that file. Remove the

54ee5f7d89 arch/x86_64: Non-kconfig symbols shouldn't look like kconfig
The lowest level of the x86_64 bit port supports the full 64 bit ABI
just fine, but Zephyr does not (yet) and builds under the x32 ABI
instead. The xuk layer can be built with or without the -mx32 switch,
and it had a configurable in a header to tell it what it was. At some
point during development I swept through and turned all those tunables
into kconfigs, but this one wasn't used by zephyr and so it got the
CONFIG_* rename but never had an entry added to a Kconfig file to
match it, and eventually got picked up by Ulf's unused symbol
detector.

Rename back. It will probably become a kconfig again someday when we
need it. Fixes #14059.

9611c9ab4d arch: arm: pointer argument to MPU region re-programming functions
This commit refactors the MPU region re-programming functions,
to take as argument an array of pointers to memory partition
structures, instead of the whole array of the partitions. In
this way the stack usage can be minimized, if the actual
partition information is kept in statically allocated memory.

instead of the map itself.

dd70c6bb92 boards: arm: particle_*: remove SPI default enablement
The nRF52840-based Particle.io boards have an external flash
module that is connected via SPI interface. Originally,
the goal was to place the flash part into deep power down
mode and save 9 uA in sleep mode, but this was never
implemented in a board initialization file.

Let's remove the default y behavior for SPI as each sample
will turn it on if needed, and it can cause certain out of
tree samples to behave badly (where CONFIG_MULTITHREADING=n).

Long term: we need a better solution for handling samples
that don't fit the requirements for certain drivers, but
for now this will clean up some board usability issues.

e65f8ba1f2 kconfig: gpio: Remove lots of redundant GPIO dependencies
Most of these are from source'ing a file within an 'if GPIO', and then
adding another 'depends on GPIO' within it.

'if FOO' is just shorthand for adding 'depends on FOO' to each item
within the 'if'. There are no "conditional includes" in Kconfig, so
'if FOO' has no special meaning around a 'source'. Conditional includes
wouldn't be possible, because an 'if' condition could include (directly
or indirectly) forward references to symbols not defined yet.

Tip: When adding a symbol, check its dependencies in the menuconfig
('ninja menuconfig', then / to jump to the symbol). The menuconfig also
shows how the file with the symbol got included, so if you see
duplicated dependencies, it's easy to hunt down where they come from.
